Smile Cambodia holds the status of a registered public charity, the German equivalent to an American 501(c)3. Smile Cambodia is able to issue tax-exempts to our donors. Donations are fully tax deductible for German tax payers. All donations are used 100% for our projects in Cambodia. Administration costs in Germany are fully covered by our members. Travel expenses to Cambodia are covered by the private resources of the respective individual. For donations under 200 Euro the monthly account statement is usually sufficient for the German tax authorities. For donations above 200 Euro you will receive a contribution receipt from Smile Cambodia.
